Hand picked by me from the reject phosphate mounds, available to the public by a local mine (Aurora, North Carolina). There were lots of bones that were unrecognizable. But ther owner of the museum across the street, who is the director of the museum, told me it was a vertebrae from the bottom of a whale's spine (the tail).
